Yes - the core of Budgetelo is free, with no usage limits and no ads. Budgets, accounts, transactions, categories, recurring transactions, cloud sync, the home screen widget, app lock and the Income vs Expense report all cost nothing.

Budgetelo Premium is an optional subscription for people who want more: the full set of analytics reports, cloud backup and restore, payment reminders, and every color theme. It's billed monthly or yearly, the price is shown in the app before you buy, and you can cancel anytime.

Yes, creating an account is required to use Budgetelo. Don't worry though - it's quick and easy! Having an account ensures your financial data is safely backed up and you can access it from any device. Plus, it helps us provide you with personalized features and insights.

Premium unlocks four things on top of the free app: the complete set of analytics reports (expense breakdown, category detail, group detail, month comparison and top payees), cloud backup and restore for your budgets, payment reminders per category, and every color palette including the custom color picker. It's available as a monthly or yearly subscription - the yearly plan works out significantly cheaper per month.

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from, so you cancel there: Apple subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play subscriptions on Android. Cancelling stops the next renewal - you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. Note that uninstalling the app or deleting your Budgetelo account does not cancel a subscription.

Nothing disappears. All your budgets, accounts, transactions and settings stay exactly as they are, the color theme you're currently using keeps working, and reminders you've already scheduled keep firing. What you lose is the ability to perform Premium actions - backing up or restoring a budget, adding a new reminder, switching to a different palette, and opening the reports beyond Income vs Expense. Resubscribe and everything is available again right away.

Yes. Your subscription is tied to the Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. Sign in with the same account on the new device, open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases.

Apple and Google process the payment, so refunds go through them rather than us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com on iOS or through Google Play support on Android. If something isn't working as it should, email us at support@budgetelo.com first - we'd rather fix it.

Absolutely! Your financial information is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and we never share your personal data with third parties.

Currently, Budgetelo focuses on manual entry to give you complete control over your data. This approach ensures maximum privacy and security for your financial information.

Don't worry! Since you have an account with us, all your financial data is safely stored in our secure cloud. You can reinstall the app anytime and simply log back in to restore all your information - your budgets, expenses, and savings goals will be right where you left them.

Currently, data export is not available, but we're planning to add CSV export functionality in future updates. This will allow you to export your financial data for use in other applications or for your personal records.
